Wells Inn
Sistersville, WV 26175
Located in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia, the Wells Inn dates back to the late 1890s. The historic hotel is also known as the Hotel Wells and features a brick facade and two stories of rooms for visitors to stay in.
Beware before booking a room at this hotel though, as the place is rumored to be pretty haunted. Ephraim Wells was the hotel's builder and many believe his ghost still lingers the place. Wells built the hotel to cater to upper class travelers and oil barons. His ghost likes to make himself known by turning on the lights in the hallways, slamming doors, and moving objects. Others say if you pass by Mr. Well's old office, you can hear him writing.
