Camden Park
Huntington, WV 25704
Camden Park offers twenty six acres of amusement park fun in Huntington, West Virginia. The park dates back to 1903 and it acted as a popular picnic spot operated by the Camden Interstate Railway Company. It is one of only thirteen trolley parks that remain open in the entire United States.
Along with fun for all ages, Camden Park is also said to be home to some ghosts. It could be because the park was built around an Adena burial mound. The mound can be seen if you know where to look, although it blends in with the landscape of the park. Visitors have reported seeing apparitions on the grounds of the amusement park or have felt a cold presence surrounding them. If you dare, this amusement park is sure to get your heart racing one way or another.
