22 Mine Road is located in Southwestern West Virginia in Logan County. To arrive at this location, you'll need to take the winding drive to the top of Trace Mountain. This is where Mamie Thurman's body was dumped in the early 1930s. Thurman was an attractive young woman in her 30s and she was married to a local police officer in Logan.

Mamie's ghost is known to linger where she lost her life. She had been shot and stabbed before being left in a ditch. It turned out that Mamie was seeing a married man who also happened to be her landlord. After two years of engaging in extra marital affairs, the man, Harry Robertson, and his handyman, Clarence Stephenson, were charged with Mamie's murder.

Mamie's ghost has been spotted at the top of the mountain and walking alongside the road. Other reports say that if you park at the bottom of 22 Mine Road and place your car in neutral, it will roll uphill. Would you take the chance of Mamie's ghostly hands pushing your vehicle?
